Buildaible Release Update – April 4, 2025

We’ve released a new update to address bugs and improve your Buildaible experience, alongside some exciting announcements like our new website and the launch of Office Hours. Here’s what’s new:

On Your Screen

These are the changes you’ll notice while using Buildaible:

  • Numeric Fields Now Support Negative Numbers
    Numeric fields can now handle negative numbers (e.g., for expenses or adjustments). Importing, lookups, and summaries all work correctly with negative values.

  • Calendar Currency Values Display Properly
    Currency values in Calendar views now show with the "$" symbol, ensuring your financial data looks correct.

  • Numeric Columns Left-Justified
    Numeric columns in tables are now left-justified to align with other columns, creating a more consistent and polished look.

  • Summary Fields Display Formatting Improved
    Numeric summary fields now reflect the number formatting of the field they’re pulling from (e.g., showing a "$" for currency). Additionally, “Count” summary types will only display whole numbers—no more trailing “.00.”

Under the Hood

These behind-the-scenes improvements keep Buildaible running smoothly:

  • App Routing on Logout
    When you log out and there are no more cookies, you’ll be directed to the login page of the workspace you were using, rather than the sign-up page.

  • Numeric Field Exports Fixed
    Numeric fields now export correctly, ensuring your data is accurate when downloaded.

What’s New
New Website Launch
We’ve launched our new website! Check it out at www.buildaible.com to explore Buildaible with a fresh, user-friendly design.

  • Weekly Office Hours Launched
    We held our first Office Hours session this week! It’s a great way to connect with the Buildaible team every Thursday at 2 PM. Here’s what we covered in the first session:

    • An overview of Office Hours and what to expect in future sessions.

    • Upcoming features like data filtering and Buildaible’s mobile version, shared by Product Manager George Hambel.

    • Details on our soon-to-launch CRM template and API capabilities—every account will get free access to a CRM with one-click deployment.

    • A live demo building a Simple Contact Management app with three tables: Companies, Company Contacts, and Interactions.

    • A quick lesson on key terms: Tables, Fields, Forms, and Relationships.
