Buildaible Release Notes - v5.1.5 - August 2025

We're thrilled to roll out the latest updates to Buildaible, designed to make your experience smoother, more reliable, and ready for exciting things to come! Here's what's new in our August 22, 2025 release, explained simply for everyone:

Smoother User Experience

  • Clearer Session Messaging: We've improved how Buildaible handles your login sessions. You'll now see clearer messages when your session expires, and we've fixed those frustrating redirect loops that could happen when signing back in.

  • Better Offline Behavior: If your internet drops, Buildaible now reconnects more smoothly, avoiding unnecessary retries that could slow things down or cause errors.

  • Improved Error Messages: When saving data or running queries, you'll get clearer error messages if something goes wrong, helping you understand the issue and reducing the risk of losing your work.

  • Enhanced Security: We've added protection against clickjacking, a type of online attack, to keep your app interactions safer.

Coming Soon: Powerful API Features

We're working on some exciting new API capabilities that will soon let you automate and customize your apps like never before. These features are currently being fine-tuned for internal use, but they'll be available to everyone in the future! Here's a sneak peek:

  • Create Apps Programmatically: You'll be able to build entire apps and configure their settings using our API, perfect for automating app creation or integrating with other tools.

  • Build Tables via API: You'll soon be able to create new data tables programmatically, without needing the user interface, making it easier to streamline workflows.

  • Manage Data and Fields with Ease: The API will let you add, delete, or modify records and fields, giving you full control to manage your app’s data from scripts or other services.

  • Update Table Settings Flexibly: You'll be able to tweak table settings without starting from scratch, saving time and effort when making changes.

Behind-the-Scenes Improvements

  • More Reliable Performance: We've enhanced how Buildaible handles sessions, authentication, and errors, making the platform more stable and less likely to hit snags during use.

  • Better Debugging Tools: New logging improvements help our team (and yours!) track down and resolve issues faster when they pop up.

  • Updated Dependencies: We've refreshed key components to keep Buildaible secure, compatible, and up to date with the latest technologies.
