Current Permissions

Right now, App Admins can create roles and assign permissions for each table, including the ability to:

  • View Records – Allow users to see records within a table.

  • Edit Records – Grant access to modify data within records.

  • Delete Records – Enable users to remove records from a table.

These permissions provide a strong foundation for managing access, but we know you need even more flexibility.

What’s Coming Next

With Granular User Permissions, App Admins will gain the ability to define specific conditions for which records a role can View, Edit, or Delete. This level of precision allows you to create a tailored experience for each role, ensuring users only access the data relevant to them.

  • Filtered Record Access: Specify filters for each role to control which records they can View, Edit, or Delete. For example:

    • A sales manager can only view and edit records assigned to their region.

    • A team member can delete records created within the past 30 days but not older ones.

  • Flexible Role Customization: Combine these granular filters with existing table-level permissions for unmatched flexibility.

  • Enhanced Security and Control: Reduce the risk of errors or unauthorized actions by limiting access to only what’s necessary.
