User Field Notifications
What Are User Field Notifications?
User Field Notifications in Buildaible keep users informed about updates by notifying them when they are assigned to specific tasks, records, or fields. These notifications are delivered within the app to ensure users stay up-to-date without needing external email alerts.
How to Enable User Notifications
User Field Notifications are tied to User Fields within your application. To activate notifications:
Once enabled, any user assigned to this field will receive notifications whenever:

A new record is created.

An existing record is updated.
Where Notifications Appear
User Field Notifications are visible in two locations:

App-Specific Notifications

Notifications related to a specific app are displayed within the app itself.

Users will see these notifications in the app’s notification area, indicated by a blue dot on the bell icon in the top-right corner next to their profile. Clicking the bell will open a dropdown displaying their notifications for that specific app.

Main Dashboard Notifications

For users with access to multiple apps, all notifications are consolidated on the Main Account Dashboard.

These notifications are listed in the Notifications Panel on the left-hand side and include updates across all apps the user has access to (see Screenshot 3).

What’s Next for Notifications?
We’re constantly improving Buildaible’s notification system. In the future, we’ll introduce email notifications that can be triggered by specific changes to fields or records. This will provide users with even more flexibility and ensure they never miss important updates.

Keep your notifications organized by regularly reviewing them in your dashboard and marking them as read.
