Developer Mode

Developer Mode is a feature in Buildaible that allows app administrators to customize the structure, fields, and functionality of their applications. It provides advanced tools for app development while also allowing administrators to toggle it off for a simplified experience.

How to Toggle Developer Mode

1. Access the Toolbar at the Top of Your Workspace:

   The Developer Mode toggle is located in the persistent top toolbar of your Buildaible workspace.
   
   

2. Enable or Disable Developer Mode:

   1. Look at the top of your Buildaible interface.

   2. Locate the "Developer Mode" toggle in the toolbar.

   3. Click the toggle to enable or disable Developer Mode.

What Changes with Developer Mode?

When Developer Mode is enabled:

• Additional tools and settings are available to administrators.

• You can see and use the Manage Fields button for field customization.

Dropdown menus for tables include advanced options such as:

• Table Settings

• Import Data

• Export Data

• Delete Table

When Developer Mode is disabled:

• The Manage Fields button is hidden, simplifying the interface for regular use.

• Table drop-downs no longer include developer-focused settings like Table Settings or Delete Table, but Import Data and Export Data remain available for convenience
